Im definitely stronger and taller than him, but he is so much tougher than me (raised on a farm) so i reckon he would win

    Yes.

Maybe, I'm taller but he is fatter.

    No chance.

But he doesn't know where I am, so I'm safe:p

That'd be the clincher for a lot of people. A lot of that generation would of had to grow up tough. Our generation is soft

oh look dad a world war two tank!

*kicks him in the balls and drops him to the floor*

Yes, but that's because he's now a sick man. If he was in full health he'd win.

No way in hell. I'm taller and heavier, but his arms are the size of my thighs.

I'd say we'd be an equal match. He played a lot of hurling and rugby but I did Taekwondo... He's got a back injury and I smoke like a train. We'd probably just both end up passing out.

he is 79, senile and stands about 5'3, i am almost 6ft and in my mid 30s......

now my mother would be tougher, she would probably come charging with a chainsaw :D

    Nope.

Im taller but I dunno, what is it about men and wanting to fight their fathers?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,075 ✭✭✭Wattle

He always won but he had an unfair height and weight advantage. He retired undefeated when he realised that I was now bigger and stronger than him.

I'm younger, stronger and faster than my Dad. I have a better reach, more experience and training in fighting and am probably more naturally aggressive.

I'd probably kill myself trying to beat my Dad because he is the toughest son of a bitch i have ever met.

I don't know. Never fought a zombie before.

Why would you want to beat your Da in a fight?

I have. He was out of work for about 6-8 weeks after. Well that is to say, he couldn't drive a bus with a broken ankle.

Give me a minute to test this out. But yeah I could we're the same height but hes fatter and much more unfit

You know you have become a man when your father lies bloodied and beaten on the sitting room floor

well, he's dead so I guess it hinges on whether the undead have preternatural strength or not.

I'd never take my father on. What he has are a very particular set of skills; skills he has acquired over a very long career. Skills that make him a nightmare for people like me. If I don't threaten to beat him up, that'll be the end of it. He will not look for me, he will not pursue me. But if I do, he will look for me, he will find me, and he will kill me.

    **serious answer**

Its actually not something I'd like to think about tbh.

I'd hate to think my son would ever have cause to weigh me up for a beating.

I reckon i might be able to give him a run for his money maybe,,,,on one

condition and with fair rules, the rule would be that he couldnt run into me or over me in his wheelchair....

I didn't get on great with my Da growing up but I didn't (and don't) spend much time thinking about whether I could batter him either.

I'm a girl so answer is no.

I don't think there's anyone on the planet that could find a reason to want to hit my Da. He's freakishly likeable so it would just be bizarre to imagine fighting him. He's getting on and I can't fight for **** so I don't even know where it would end up.

    I'd hammer my son though.
