What showed filled your tv gap this Summer?, what new show did you most enjoy?...did Falling Skies do it for you?
What shows did you check out over the last three months?

I've tried to watch pretty much all the new shows, what surprised me the most in terms of how good the show was, how unique it was, how well written etc. - Switched At Birth. I got the same kind of "buzz" i got when i watched those initial eps. of Glee.

By that i mean the show felt fresh, stuff i'd not seen before...the whole deaf aspect, subtitles, signing etc. was just terrific to watch, i felt like i came away learning something about the deaf couuminty. Add to which it was very funny, tons of drama, good characters, it warmed the cockles of my tween heart :)

Strike Back has been just ace so far!...it's great, Falling Skies.... , ah lads, soo much potential squandered. Single Ladies....... :P , i really liked it!...trashy, crappy, badly acted and written BUT it hits the guilty pleasure button and i found myself really enjoying it.

I've been shocked to say that both Rookie Blue and Covert Affairs have been much better in their respective second seasons, especially Covert Affairs....i mean, i'm like  - is this is same crapfest that was season 1?...huge improvement.

Teen Wolf!...woo!, it totally fills that TVD spot for the Summer, again it's a show that surprised me at how good it was, it really is like TVD in that it was much better then expected.

I've watched a ton more, Torchwood: MD is pants...Death Valley....undecided [more observations to come]

How on earth do you find the time to watch all of those shows Richard? You must never sleep or eat :D

Only shows I watched this summer were:

Falling Skies (could have been so good but ended up being pretty crap)

Torchwood Miracle Day(I am really enjoying this)

    True Blood (Loving this season)

Strike Back (Im 2 episodes in and I think it is a great show).

Curb Your Enthusiasm (this show never fails to deliver)

Suits was really good and I quite enjoyed Alphas. Tried Falling Skies but found it boring so quit watching after 20 minutes or so. Breaking Bad has been a disappointment so far this season.

Oh I am so looking forward to my favourite shows returning in September!

Covert Affairs and Suits are probably the best 2.

Warehouse 13 and True Blood get honourable mention.

Suits......fantasic TV that is easily the second best show on during the summer (Breaking Bad is unbeatable in that department IMO :D)

I watched a couple of the new American shows online but the only one I liked enough to watch the entire season was Switched at Birth. I've been watching old repeats of ER and Judging Amy on tv. I've been watching a few shows (Heroes, House, Alias) on DVD that I didn't watch on TV when they first aired.

Wow, a crossover of two successful shows in their own rights. Tell me, was it more a musical cop show or a highschool crime show?

I'm going to cheat and say BSG and Sopranos. Only watched them for the first time this summer :-)

    Other than that - GOT.
