Good starts from mcilroy and Kaymer, both -5 thru 17

Michael hoey was leader at one stage on -4 but finished his round at -1

Dougherty joint leader:eek: What odds on him missing the cut?!

Have Jaquelin backed in this. Sergio and Haas in the States

Leading now on -7. He is surely going to win his first euro of the year

    Most appropriate use of

I've seen for a long time. Hope he continues this form for the rest of the week and into the coming weeks.

If Dougherty winning means his wife (Di) gets more camera time...them I'm all for it!! :P:D;)

Lowry is going to miss another cut too, 3 over through 12. Erratic form is an understatement!!

McIlroy eagles the drivable par 4 5th to join the leaders. 6 and 7 are also extremely shot par 4s

He goes into the lead and then makes a 7 at the 9th

Didn't know that's who she married.

Can't see him contending at all over the weekend.

Meant to ask this before, but how can Victor Dubuission not have a world ranking and be 111 in R2D?

LJW will show young rory how it's done!

Should be an easy win for the best ball striker in the world, come on westy.

    Holy s*it at Kaymer's start!

62 from Thomas Bjorn, 2 wins in a row and 3rd win of the year. Yet another example of a golfer turning 40 and playing unreal stuff.

Anyone see his slice on the 13th? and the camera catches him mouthing "Fuuuuck you Tom":pac:
That rescue club on the second par 5 clearing the front bunker was the turninig point,he eagled that to go 2 ahead.

Disappointed with Kaymer,2 ahead heading into two birdie-able par 5's,only to par both..
18 months ago he'd have pulled at least another 2 shots ahead.

As you can see....there is no such thing as an easy win in golf :)

That site is riddled with statistical errors. It's actually a disgrace for an official site of a major tour.

Care to divulge a better site?

There isn't one for the European Tour. That's the disgrace about it all.
