    .

    ITS CALLED A SURREY FLANGE.
THE PIPE COMING OUT OF THE TOP OF IT IS/WILL RISE UP TO THE ATTIC (EXPANSION PIPE).(THATS THE ONE THAT JUST HANGS OVER THE TANK IN THE ATTIC). HOWEVER IS/COULD BE FEEDING HOT SUPPLIES BEFORE IT SERVES THAT PURPOSE.
THE PIPE COMING OUT OF THE SIDE IS FEEDING A PUMP/SHOWER.

    WHY DO YOU ASK ?

    Hello Marcanthony,

thank you for the reply. But I'm afraid you (and the "plumber" that did the installation) got it wrong.

I figured out in the meantime that the top pipe is actually for the showers and the bottom flange is the vent pipe for the attic. It is not very intuitive but when you look at the part disassembled it is obvious (and the instructions are very clear). After swapping the pipes everything now works fine.

I'd like to thank the Irish International Trading Corporation in Cork for their support.

    Regards,
    Hagen

WELL THEN ITS A YORK FLANGE. WHY DO YOU ASK IF YOU ALREADY KNEW?I
UNLESS IT WAS A QUIZZ? AND IN THAT CASE I HAD NOT EVEN USED A LIFE LINE. I COULD HAVE PHONED A FRIEND. WHO HAD AN AFFAIR WITH A GIRL FROM YORK. BET HE WOULD HAVE KNOWN.

"WELL HE WOULD HAVE KNOWN ABOUT HER FLANGE"........AT LEAST......AND TO WHICH HOLE SERVED WHICH PURPOSE
