    It's for this site here :

    http://www.militaria-archive.com

    It's a history/hobby site, 100% non-commercial.

    Basically in awstats, you can look at all 'error 404' requests going to a site to find dead links etc.

    It looks like google.ie (not google.de) search engine is regularly looking for ;

    'http://www.militaria-archive.com/verify-compliance2'

    I just noticed this last night but it's been going on for a while. I don't recall this as anything related to google analytics setup so I have no idea what it's about.

    The only thing I can remotely think of is that in Germany, German laws require a legal disclaimer to be agreed by users (similar to an adult site) to enter sites which contain ww2 photographs, for example :

    http://www.janssen-militaria.com

    (there have been cases of German sites that show ww2 photographs and include 'forbidden symbols' being shutdown and the owners getting hefty fines for not obscuring swastikas in original ww2 pics)

    however that jansen one is a commercial site based in/selling to Germany. Also I just checked and even those ones do not have a 'verify-compliance2' page setup.

    You don't seem to be the only one (awstats data from 2009 indexed by Google):
