how much should windows cost??

    just looking for some advice here, i am looking to replace two windows at the front of my house.

    they are box/square bay windows. i want double glazed pvc.
    i have had a few people quote me, the quotes range from 3k to over 4k.

    anyone i ask seem to think this is high, tbh i wasnt expecting to pay any more than 2k, at the most!

    am i being unrealistic? i had no idea about prices before this but someone mentioned maybe these guys see me as an easy touch, young woman on her own?
    how much should i expect to pay for these windows?

    You will need to give a bit more information. What size are they? Is there blockwork at the corner of the bays? Is there a supporting column? What openings do you want in them? A picture would be handy.
