Will UPC have an App like Sky Go ?

    Just wondering if anyone has info about UPC and if they will make a like TV app

    Magnet have a Web App that allows you to stream Live TV your computer/iPad/iPhone. The basic channels are free (RTE 1&2, TV3, 3e, TG4 and a few others) and they also have a few premium channels at a cost.

    Probably the closest thing you'll get at the moment.

    There's an iPad app for UPC, however it's in a language I don't recognise and you can't sign in with Irish accounts.

    I'd say with difficulty and it all depends whether UPC plan to move into that distribution channel. UPC don't own any of the content that they carry. Sky Go has the advantage that the core of it's offering is its own channels.

    Can you pay for Sky Go if you've not a subscriber to Sky ? Need Sky sports on my iphone :)

    Get an LOF account. There is a way to view streams on iphone through the browser.

    Yep but is madly expensive.You have to pay €50 a month for it, but you get the Entertainment channels with it. Sky Go is a great compliment with a Sky Subscription, but would never consider it if you're not a Sky Subscriber.
