i was browsing the web looking for plans to build a portable shooting bench as i wasnt happy with my old wobbly workmate effort and came across this youtube clip
    http://youtu.be/1MJV-gli7Ag
,decided to have a go but make a few changes ,i used a bit of kitchen counter top i had lying around instead of the 3/4 plywood and made it 40 inches long.i then added 2 inches to each leg to make it higher as i'm a big lad :D,only took me an afternoon to put it together and cost about 30 euro all in ,
    dsc0279ea.jpg[/IMG]
i covered the top with non slip matting and it works really well
    [IMG][/img]dsc0277wv.jpg
this is what it looks like folded up ready for transport

    [IMG][/img]dsc0285ng.jpg
    and in the boot ;)
feild tested it to day and it is rock solid so well pleased

That is VERY impressive! I like it enough to copy it - only change I'd make is to build it so that lefties can use it too.

I'll give you full acknowledgement on a label underneath!

    Thanks for the idea.
