First years moving in?

Im starting first year this year and orientation is on saturday 10th and im going to move up to my accomodation on the friday. So im just wondering is that when everyones moving up or what are other first years doing?

I'm still trying to sort out accomm.

but i should be sorted by monday

will prob be moving in on the tuesday then! there's loads going on in galway that week

Heading up to Corrib Village pretty early, I was thinking Tuesday or Wednesday next week so I'll have some time to adjust and get settled before it gets all busy

Im moving in to Dunaras village. I wasnt going to move up until the friday as im going up on my own and it will kind of suck if i move up earlier in the week and my housemates havent arrived.

I'm stranded so far :P Which is okay considering I only accepted my place seven hours ago. Centrepoint is the only place that has vacancies and daft is getting me nowhere! Sure it'll all work out!

Did you check the NUIG accommodation thread sticky? I know a few first years were saying they had spare rooms recently, it'd be worth contacting them.

Yup.. In the gardens of one of the townhouses, scumbags broke up a fence and lit a bonfire in the back garden of the house.. When the fire brigade arrived the same scum started throwing bottles at them!! :mad:
