    Hi

I changed an mkv to an amp4, and downgraded the soundtrack from 5.1 to 2.0 stereo.

That worked OK, except for the kbps.

I set that to 192, but the final product produced 98.

Anyone know how to fix this? The dialogue is difficult to hear.

    Thanks in advance!

Yeah, there's a bit of a learning curve but when you are doing any kind of video/audio conversion its always handy to have a few tools in case one doesnt work.

If I understand you right you want to remux a MKV as a MP4, keep the video stream as is but re-encode the audio as AAC 2.0 ?

So what you would do is
    1) Tools > HD Stream extractor (to demux)
    2) Convert the audio using the bottom window
    3) Tools > Muxer > MP4 to mux the video stream with the new audio stream

You might have to manually download Nero AAC encoder and place it in the MeGUI folder, I can't remember if it comes with it or not.
