Television stuck on widescreen

    Problem with a black diamond television. Its stuck on widescreen and we have not got the original black diamond remote to fix it. Anyone know anyway we can fix it or any guidance on the matter? Its very annoying! :(

    We are using some sort or universal remote which came with the UPC.

    You'll probably need to get a decent Universal Remote, sometimes a Sky remote will change the aspect ratio also but it may lose it again when you go to turn the TV off. If its an old 4:3 CRT then my advise would be scrap it and get a new HDTV instead.

    are there any buttons on the tv itself.. ? under a flap.

    Get the model number of your tv and ask your local tv repair man (If you have one, they're getting harder to find) for a replacement remote.

    Alternatively try google.

    Haven't tried them, don't know how good/bad they are, but there's plenty more.
