Don't powerhose your wheels up close. Any chips in the lacquer from scuffs/kerbing can be made bigger/more problematic when water gets blasted under them by the powerwasher.

I swear by the Meguiars Hot Rims All Wheel Cleaner with an alloy wheel brush. Few sprays on the wheel, leave for 3 minutes as it eats into the brake dust, scrub, reapply, scrub and wash off. You'll probably need a tar remover for the bigger tar stains and for really caked on brake dust that's been there for years you'll most likely never fully remove it as it'll have bled into the lacquer/paint

Spray on autosmart tardis and let it soak for around ten mins then scrub and hose down ...that should probably work.

Agreed 100% then when you have them nice and clean seal them with this and the brake dust won't bond next time.
