I'm going into midwifery. How come my orientation pack does not have a garda vetting application? Weird.

Have you looked at the online version? All of the packs are available to download on the website.

yeah, the online version doesn't have it either. its orientation pack 6. Do nurses and midwives have to carry out a different garda vetting procedure? Do they fill the form out in the school or something rather than return an application?

oh ok, well I called trinity and they said they'll send me a form. Does it matter now if I fill it out and send it in, or do it on the day?

they collect them on the day you don't need to send it in

The School of Nursing looks after the garda vetting for nursing and midwifery students so they will give you the form on the first day.
