However in mine there is one live input (as expected) And 3 live outputs. Im assuming as follows that 2 are for the heating and one is for the hot…

Hi there

If you have hot water, upstairs, and downstairs controls on your heating, then you need a 3 channel timeclock. I think the one you linked is a 2 channel one.

The two channel will be fine.
Only want to split out heating and hot water.
