Hey folks being working as a DJ for some time have travelled the country doing all sorts of gigs,
looking to get a good van that can give very good mpg.

Would the opel combo be a good buy?

seen a citroen dispacth last week loved liked the size of it. but would imagine mpg would be poor as it's just straight 1.9

Transit connect wouldn't be a bad buy. Big enough for a decent rig but small and light enough on diesel, plus you'd be getting a turbo diesel engine so nippy enough where needed. I've had a loan of a connect a few times going to gigs and I found it a great wagon.

I'll also give connects a vote if you havn't got the sort of setup that'd require a big lwb van. Did pretty serious mileage in one for a while, and though they're far from an executive saloon, as small vans gos it was grand to sit in amd handled being pushed on hard pretty well. Good on diesel too. If i was to have a van that size again it'd be one of them. I know you can get more power in a tdi caddy but more hassle too and around here they've a big following with dodgy youngfellas putting huge wheels on and too much chrome, and usually a sticker depicting horses or a horse pulling a sulky

I know a few mobile jocks with Berlingo's - seem to be the van of choice for them.
