As the Wiccan-vampire standoff reaches a critical juncture, Sookie (Anna Paquin) summons her faerie powers to prevent Marnie (Fiona Shaw) from bewitching Bill (Stephen Moyer), Eric (Alexander Skarsgård) and Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) into a suicide march, while Jesus (Kevin Alejandro) casts a secret spell designed to un-bind Marnie/Antonia and break the witch’s deadly defenses. Sam (Sam Trammell) settles a score with Marcus (Dan Buran); Alcide (Joe Manganiello) confronts Debbie (Brit Morgan) about her allegiances; Andy (Chris Bauer) finds unexpected passion in the forest; Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) is consumed by the past.

What a fantastic episode... Enjoyed every bit of it. Trust
    <Marnie
not to know when to end.

And those damn fairies are poking their noses in again - should be interesting to see where that ends up.

Can't wait now for the finale - Who does Sookie choose again ??;):p

I didn't like that episode, it was way too messy. There were some good parts - Pam (as usual) and all of the vampires. Jesus and Lafayette were very good too. They could have left out most of the rest. The fairy part seemed like it was just filling up time, and I couldn't care less about the Sam storyline. I'd prefer Tommy back than Sam having more time!

The whole "helpless Sookie" bit was really boring, I thought it dragged on and on. It was fairly obvious she was going to use her powers at some stage, and anyone watching would know that, so I thought that aspect was badly done.

    F**kin Sookie.

Can this be the show's tag line? :D

There were some cracking lines in this and some good action sequences but what the hell is the point of the fairies?

"Oh ****, Marnie just puked a bitch out!"

The fairies are clearly just being set up for next season. If the next ep follows the pattern of previous seasons, they'll finish with Marnie in the 1st half hour, then the fairies will do something in the second half hour.

overall i think it's a good episode and there were some good bits left for the season finale or perhaps the opening for next season. there were too much of fairies bits going on over the whole season. not enough Pam!

Can't get enough of Pam - but think the werewolf element needs to be cranked up a bit not to mention Jason and his were panther issues - what is the crack there.

I enjoyed that. I thought Lafayette and Jesus were excellent, and thought Alcide did pretty well too. His "I ABJUUURREE YEW" scene was quite tense, I could feel it.

Although Sam wasn't great at all. "It's so ****in' sad!" As he turns away from his dying brother was cringe.

Fairies annoying. Sookie annoying. Less fairy/Sookieness, more awesome action.

EDIT: Just realised Tommy died in the last ep. Ah well, Sam is still ****.

Sam said that as a response to Tommy telling him that Sam was the best part of his life. Sam said, "That is so fuçking sad," in response as he thought his and Tommy's time together was awful and the thought of that awfulness being the highlight of a dying person's life was pathetically tragic.

brilliant episode! also, there was nothing in there to just "fill the time"!
having read the books, the faery part was a set up for next season as was said above, jason has no were panther issues as they show didn't run with that storyline.
i really dislike marnie, looking forward to seeing her gone...again!

    I liked this episode.

I really thought though that when Antonia came out that she was going to go into Layfette.

I'm not really sure where they are going with the fairys and I don't really care anymore. They don't interest me.

I was looking at one of the books in Easons the other day and read the back and it said
Sookie is dealing with her brother being a wear-panther. Does anyone know if they are going to go down this route in the TV series?

It appears they have decided not to as Alcide told Sookie that you have to be born Were, you can't be infected with it.

Thanks Iguana. I thought it would be a good addition actually if they did go down that route but it seems the were-panthers are no longer in the story line anymore.

That annoying crystal idiot is still alive so they probably will bring the panthers back into it. What was the point in any of that story in the first few episodes of the season? If they were going to turn Jason into a panther then it might have made sense, but other than that it was pointless.

Completely agree. I don't see the point of it anymore now that Jason isn't one.

I think since Jason has a new love interest now they won't bother bringing Crystal back.

Pretty good episode. Didn't really leave me thrilled for next week like episode 10 did, but still some very strong stuff this week.
    F**cking Sookie.

Yes I understand that, but I still think the delivery of it was cringe. That's what I was referring to (though obviously not clearly!).

I completely agree too and am hoping fervently that the Hotshot crew don't make a big comeback next season.
