I've used them a few times too. They are good value, but the only gripe I'd have about them is that several times I've ordered items on their site which they stated they had in stock. No sign a week so later, then rang them only to be told they were waiting for them to come in, didn't know when. They didn't appear to think they should have let me know they didn't have them after taking my money. As I say, this has happened to me several times.
This also happened to a friend last December, as a result he ended up missing out on some Christmas presents for his nephews.

    Rant over.

They are good value, but I would strongly recommend that you phone them along with ordering online to ensure they really do have the items they claim in stock.

    +1
The one and only time I've ordered from them it took about two weeks to be delivered and the lack of communication at the beginning was poor.

I've used them for Srixon's the last 2 years not a bother. Bought other small stuff too,if you spend more than £50 free delivery.

I use them a lot, and for golf balls you won't get anyone cheaper.

One major problem I have is I ordered custom fit clubs a few months back, weeks later I sent an email asking about the delay which they ignored. I sent another strong email demanding a realistic update or to cancel the order which they finally answered to agree to cancel the order.

Tbh normally I find this website awesome, but my last experience has been more than disappointing.

I had a similar experience in that I ordered three clubs and they didn't have them in stock. I think they keep a fairly low stock level and just order them in when people make the orders and hope the delivery time isn't too long.

Good to know about the delay in delivery when there isint any stock... customers will get annoyed with a delay in service, especially if you are waiting on presents ot paying big bucks for a new custom fit set of irons.....

    Massively cheaper.

Taylor made burner 2.0 irons are €599 and I just priced them on there at €429 incl delivery and some options.

Granted its 5iron to PW, I dont need anything else, the amount of customisation is nice aswell.

Will need to look at the benefits of the different shafts etc

But I think I've found where I'm buying my irons, might put the saving to a new putter/driver

Some great deals on that site alright but the stay dry bag is only €120 in Wexford GC.

    Got linked by a mate

    www.golfstore365.com

Fantastic pricing but a quick google search shows that its a coutnerfeit website selling copy irons

Need to be so careful buying from abroad : /

Was looking at this site myself -www.golfclubs365.com - they seem to be based in UK but all prices are in Dollars .. bit suspect - anyone ever use them ? Was looking at a set of G10 irons ..

As I said above, a google search will show about 40 threads about people saying all the irons they bought are counterfeit.

Also its very easy to check the websites details and there is registration in China so avoid at all costs imo

    Heyguys

just taught id let people know about a good experience I had with golfstoreeurope.

I ordered my galvin green gear off them this week. The didn't have the colour of the jacket I wanted in stock so they emailed me to let me know and suggested a different colour.

Then because i needed it by tomorrow they sent it next day delivery so I wouldnt be without it.

Really good company to deal with.

The whole Email about the colour might not sound like they went out of their way. But from previous experiences with different companies who just left me waiting and wondering, I was very satisfied.

Just ordered some grips from them on Sunday. Didn't ship until yesterday though which bothered me a bit tbh, surprised to hear their in Derry,I'll be asking questions if I don't get the order tomorrow, may be free shipping but that doesn't mean it should be sub standard shipping.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 427 ✭✭one ill cat

To be honest, when they ship you usually get it promptly enough.
Bar the custom clubs I had ordered, all my orders were received within 3-5 working days which I think is fairly reasonable, especially given it's free.

Afaik they have a sales office and a storage warehouse, both in Derry but from speaking to a sales guy on the phone last year I was led to believe the sales office location wasn't right beside the warehouse.

Correction on the above,It's actually only been picked up this morning, so probably wont get until Monday now. A bit shoddy i think, 8 days delivery from Derry is a bit 18th century.

Got a bit nervous when I spotted this thread just after ordering custom fit clubs.
But have to say service was perfect, after I placed the order it said it would take 10 working days to process a custom fit order. As ya can imagine I was counting the days and on the 10th day the order changed from processing to complete (last Thursday) and the clubs arrived this morning to my home in Dubai!!!

Ordered a driver, rescue and irons and saved a good bit even with the cost of shipping! So thumbs up from me for golfstoreeurope!

Dying to a get out for a round on Emirates golf club :D Havent played any golf since I left Ireland 3 months ago!

halpennygolf.com (in Dublin I think) are at that craic also.
I ordered nike shoes from there website and paid with card. A few days later I got a call to tell me they couldnt get me the colour I wanted. I eventually relucently decided to change colour only to get a call a few days later again to tell me they didnt have my size. Wasted alot of time and was well peed off.

These were all drop down menu too suggesting the product was available.
I suppose its there sneaky way of getting you to commit to them.

Just noticed that there are no Titleist clubs on the website anymore.
Or on any other website in europe it seems.
Must be some new decision ,I saw this on a few websites
Titleist do not allow their golf clubs to be sold via the Internet in Europe through the automated checkout service
So Titleist have gone the way of Ping in europe.
You will now have to contact the store of your choice to purchase any Titleist equipment as they say it is essential to take advice before purchasing their products.
Of course Titleist are still selling their clubs online in the US ,stinks of pricefixing
