This is a short 11 minute video on a match in the Supporters Direct Cup between Chester FC and FC United.

Chester FC was formed by fans in 2010 after the original team Chester City went into liquidation, it is wholly owned by the fans and its running is highly dependent on voluntary help. They were placed into the 8th tier of English football and won promotion at the end of last season. The case of FC United is well documented.

The Supporters Direct Cup is an invitational friendly played every year between teams which are owned and run by the fans.

Its an interesting look at how teams can rise from the ashes of liquidation or form their own team for whatever reason, and a look at the fans that are sick of the money machine that is the Premier League and the Champions League.
