:pac: ... You get alot of the same threads moaning about the:

    - social welfare and people on said welfare.
    - the public sector.
    - etc.

So in your opinion are the majority of Ah users begrudgers?

For me, it seems to be. Like times are bad. We have alot of people on the social welfare. Knock on effect. Less jobs. More people on the dole. But thats not good enough for some. "those bast*rds on the dole have more than the working man!" etc etc etc.
And as for the public sector? .. yeah there are quite a few people with the high paid job. The type of scum who would sooner sack the bottom-of-the-ladder guy than take a cut themselves. But thats the thing .. alot of public sector workers are just normal jobs. Its context. Like joe-blow sweeping & cleaning the streets with his hand cart isnt making 50 grand a year.

I have a long post dedicated to a similar subject on a similar thread, so I'll just link it here below:

Plenty of unoriginal threads started by begrudgers who are too lazy to think of new topics. Take the garda bashing thread below - done to death once a week at this rate, it's just getting old and boring.

Its nearly as bad as the phrase "current economic climate".

They hate anything and everything on here. People who are successful are show offs. Lads on the dole are bums. I think a lot of posters are truly bitter about the cards they have been dealt and instead of doing something about it they just like to have a go at others.

As a wise man once said - haters gonna hate. I'd rather be the one hated than the sad one doing the hating. A lot of posters just get annoyed about other peoples behaviour and are too timid to do anything about it in real life so just vent on here.

    Live your life benders

I dunno man, in these recessionary times it is sometimes necessary to use that phrase going forward.

Sit down one day and look through your last few years paychecks and work out how much you have paid in tax, levies and charges and everything else. Being concerned when you see it being pissed way. . .that's not begrudgery imo.

Technically to hand money over reluctantly is begrudgery. But who says this is a bad thing. Sometimes it is warranted.

    You still have a job?
Try looking for a job in the construction industry.
Then see who is pissing what.

I have relatives in the construction industry (hanging on by their fingernails), that doesn't change the fact that what gets dismissed as begrudgery is often legitimate concern at where all that tax money is going.

I posted in another thread today that benefit money should be means assessed.
But if a person pays into a pension or insurance plan they shouldn't be classed as scroungers but should be entitled to get what they paid for.

Is AH a shower of begrudgers you ask OP? Generally I don't think so, but it just depends on the thread topic being discussed really.
