Anyone dealt with Irish Sports Warehouse before?

I bought a golf trolley from http://www.irishsportswarehouse.ie/ for my aunt but there's a problem with it and there was smoke coming out of the battery.

I don't know how they will be regarding returns. They are based in Dublin but say not to return the item to their warehouse.

I tried searching on boards for posts concerning them but no luck.

Any information would be really helpful

Never used them so no feedback, website looks ok and genuine.

Looks like domain name is register to IRG Europe Limited that also runs http://www.bigairtrampolines.ie/ 11850 has the number listed for Irish Sports Direct with an address but not the same as the trampoline website.

There is nothing on their site that says that tent is waterproof - it says "weatherproof flysheet" this is quite a different meaning and gives you protection from weather, but if the weather is really bad (as it has been most of the summer) then it won't be waterproof.

Same in clothing - weather resistant is different to waterproof.

Also, never expect waterproof tent for €39.99

Anyone any dealings with this website in the last few years? Father in law looking to buy a trolley for 200 quid. Price looks too good to be true and generally that means it is too good to be true!!

    Hi All,
I bought a 14' Air king Trampoline from this company a month ago,I set it up in my sheltered back garden, first the spring cover started to rip, then the poles began to bend, now it is unsafe for my kids to use. I called Irish sports warehouse and they said they can not be responsible for this damage, I am now left with an unusafe ,unusable trampoline and 300euros less well off! They refused to give me my money back or replace the product. They offered to sell me another pole, what a joke!! They are not a reliable company to deal with and their products are very poor quality & my advise is to steer clear from these fly-by-night cowboys. Go to Smyths where trampolines are guaranteed to last ten years! (Like my previous one did)
    A very unsatisfied customer

    Hi,
I too purchased an Air King trampoline from Irish Sports Warehouse less than one month ago and already it is showing signs of poor quality. After less than one week the spring cover which is made of some type of plastic began to rip at the seams. After three weeks it's beginning to look as though it will soon need replacing. The safety net uprights are obviously inferior as they also are starting to bend.
I have not taken the matter up with the company (probably foolishly) as my experience with them after parting with my hard earned cash was so unsatisfactory.

I bought a snooker table which arrived with no legs and no balls. Tried contacting them by email as there was no number to call and their reply was that they are only warehouse and have no customer service.

I may as well put what they gave me in the bin and I'd never deal with this rip off company again.
