What happens if you miss your registration/induction day?

    I'm starting Arts 1 @ UCC as a mature student and my registration/induction day (at least I think the induction day is the same day) is on Sept.16th. Problem is I might be abroad getting dental work done as I have to get work done and it's too expensive here in Ireland and need to get it done as it's getting pretty bad, a few root canals etc etc (even with flights, accommodation etc it's cheaper abroad) So, what does happen if you miss your registration day - can you register late? I'm guessing you can? But I guess they don't have late induction days, so you'd have missed out on that I guess. Is the library info session etc on the induction day? The library is one of my greatest fears, lol. Been in it before and always feel at a loss.

    The semester for Arts 1 starts on Monday the 19th and I would be back by then but would most likely not be there for the previous Friday (registration day). Would only be returning on the Friday or Saturday. Thanks.

    Just ring up the registration office and tell them, they might let you register an earlier date.

    Yeah, could do that I guess. I could be going on Thursday or even Wednesday so that would mean registering tomorrow, Tuesday, or Wednesday at the latest if I'm heading off on Thursday. Or simply doing it when I get back but yeah should give em a buzz tomorrow. Thanks.
