I live in a bungalow and have a solid fuel stove with back boiler in one room. I want to install a second stove with back boiler in another room.
    My questions are:
    (1) can I run the cold feed to the new boiler from the existing central heating cold water tank in the attic, to avoid having to dig up the floor?
    (2) Can I connect in to the existing hot water return in the attic. This pipe is going from the existing boiler to the hot tank.

    Many thanks for any replies.

    I dont understand.......

(1)Do you mean can you fill both back boliers with the same supply and using the same expansion pipe?

    (2) The back boiler heats the water in the cylinder via the heating coil on your cylinder.

Is your quirie can you use the heating return pipe as a common return and use the same heating coil on the cylinder for both systems a possibility ?

1 and 2 yes. However i would recommend you have a seperate coil on the cylinder for each boiler.

    One other question
can I use Qualpex for hot and cold?

they are not a hot and cold pipes. They are flow and return pipes.
qualpex should not be used directly to a boiler or similar sourses, use copper for a minimum of a meter and then make your qualpax connection.
