    Example: I post something on a friends wall, can those who are friends with me but who arent friends with my friend see it on their home update wall? How do I know if this is or isnt the case.

    Depends on the privacy settings of the other person, as it is their Wall you posted to, and so their privacy settings determine who sees it. You have no control (other than deleting the comment) on who sees it.

    The privacy of my mate is set where only he and his friends see posts on his wall. Nothing more.

    I just noticed last night, shortly after making this post, this little box appears from next the 'Update' bar with info on privacy and settings any time I returned to my Facebook Home Page . :eek:No joke. Very Orwellian.
