    Hi Guys

I'm going to Barcelona next month for a seven day break, i have never been before and reading through other threads some post mention it can be quite expensive, i booked an apartment and plan on having breakfast there, after that i have budgeted 100 euro a day for dinner the odd drink and a sight seeing trip per day....can you guys advise me if that amount would be sufficient.
    Any advice welcome...thank you.

I was in Barcelona this summer and I didnt find it to be very expensive at all...its certainly no more expensive than Ireland.....Port Olympic is expensive alright but again nothing more than Temple Bar (or similar).

I love Barcelona, spent four days there with my girlfriend and like anywhere you go,if you can search a little and find food and drink for cheap.

We ate breakfast and lunch a few days in los ramblas market. unreal so it was. the tapas bars in the market are proper tapas bars, so fresh and I think it was about 1,50 - 2€ for a dish. We drank in a lttle mexican bar drinkin mojitos for 3€ each. So look around and dont be afraid to journey into the dark corners !!
