    Hi,

Just wondering if anyone can tell me the colour a PAL SNES power light should be?

I pulled it out of the attic after 10 years and I plugged it into my TV but nothing doing as I cant seem to be able to tune it in.

The power light is red but I think it should be green???

I have enquired about getting a SCART cable for it so hopefully that will work.

Any ideas on the power light problem?

    J.

Thanks for that, now if only I can get a picture on the screen I'd be laughing.

I have ordered one from "Console Goods" this morning so hopefully it will arrive and I can see if the machine is working. If it is, its time to start re-buying some of my old favourites again.

I wouldnt mind but I still have the empty boxes from every single SNES game I ever bought in my attic!

Well look at it this way, it'll be easier and cheaper to rebuy the carts and have complete games then to try and do it the other way around! Snes boxes are very hard to get when compared to plastic ones like Megadrive clamshells.

My 2 SNES's run terrible on my 42" LCD, unfortunately there is no room for a CRT in my apartment either.
When my gamebit screwdrivers arrive I'm going to do the 50/60htz mod and see if that makes them any better

I got my SCART cable yesterday from "Console Goods" and the old SNES kicked straight back into life.

    16bit Mario Kart...yes please.

Wehey! Another console saved by RGB.

I wonder how many consoles have been thrown out 'broken' because people just can't get them tuned in via RF on their tv? :(
