    Why laser printer?

Cheap printer usually means dear ink/toner.

Personally if you don't need a workgroup printer i'd look at the hp officejet 6500. It's an inkjet but VERY economical, 1200 black prints for about €30 or so.

Hey OP, I have two laser printers here.

HP CP2025dn, which I bought recently from Pixmania at a cost of €459.00
and HP 3800dn which is about four years old and cost around €900.00 at the time.

I buy all re-manufactured toners on ebay which cost about half the price of the originals.

    CP2025 re-manufactured £27.00 Stg, I get about 4000 pages from that.

    HP3800 re-manufactured £24.00 Stg, I get about 7000 pages from that.

I put the printer into diagnostics mode when it tells me that the cartridges are empty so it keeps printing. ;).

So if you can buy a 3800 or 3600 more or less the same thing it will pay for itself in the long run, or the 2025 is good value for the guy that has poor cash flow. :D

    Every success.

P.S. Re-manufactured toners are not much good for pictures as the colours can be a little off.
