X5 Tyres question/recommendation

I'm looking to replace tyres on an X5. The current tyres (which seem to be wearing well) are Bridgestone Turanza. Camskill are the cheapest I can find at about £176 on the back and £170 on the front.

Kumho KL 17 tyres have been recommended by a friend of a friend in the car servicing business, he puts these on his own RR. They are about £125 a tyre on Camskill which is a significant difference.

Last year I bought General Grabber Tyres for an ML as I read somewhere they come with these and they seem to be wearing well a year on. They come in at about £145 a tyre for the X5.

So does anyone recommend (or more importantly) not recommend the Kumho tyres? I'm not looking for run flats.

Have a look at the Pirelli Scorpion STR. The level of grip is fantastic.

    They are also M&S rated.

Thanks. Those tyres dont fit the x5 based on that link. I had them before on a Pajero, good tyre.
