Op no joke, in my last company a woman in her 50s got braces and a couple implants. Go for it, I guarantee you will not regret it

    Thanks, I think I will :)

So I looked up http://www.orthodontics.ie for a dentist. Is this a good place to start ? Are they all pretty much the same price and skill wise ?

I’m 34 and I’m getting my braces off in a few weeks.

Go for it, after a few days you’ll forget you have them.

Yes, orthodontics.ie is a good place to look - all the orthodontists listed there are properly trained and registered specialist orthodontists (which means they all have completed at least 2-3 years of full-time specialist postgraduate training in treating all types of orthodontic problems, for patients of all ages , in addition to their basic dental degree).

Prices will inevitably vary a little depending on who you go to, but cost, while important, is not the only factor you should consider. This type of treatment involves multiple visits, spread over a period of anything from a few months to a couple of years, so it's important to pick a location that's convenient to your home or workplace.

Best of luck! You won't regret it.
