My private car is out of tax, but will be a taxi in 2 weeks. How do I go about taxing it, and what do I do with it being out of tax at the moment? Thanks Neuro

Will you sell it to someone who is going to taxi it? In that case you don't have to do anything - just not drive the car anymore

If you're keeping the car and go taxiing yourself, I don't know the answer. Did you try asking on taxi.ie?

I'm turning it into a taxi for myself. I have only started driving the car again recently and need to tax it.

Yea u will have to back tax it as a private car up until the time you tax it as a taxi
