Waiting for results of cancer scans.

I am a 4 and a bit year oesophageal cancer survivor - have always been told that if it comes back it will be terminal. I am now in the process of getting the ct and waiting on the results. This is the big one as if it is OK then I will be in remission, of course if it is back then I have to make the most of my time. I have always found that getting the tests are very stressful. How does anyone else deal with this time?

I should state that I have done a lot in my time so far, I got married and have a boy and a girl, I just want to see them grown up and grow old with my husband.

My sister had cancer and I feel sick every time she goes for her test.

Best of luck with it Cathy! You were apprehensive about the future when we spoke some two and a half years ago....and look at what's happened since! Well done and keep the faith!

Best wishes to you. Even if it doesn't come back with the results you wanted, don't give up! Doctors are notorious for giving worst-case outlooks and they don't know everything.

Since then I have had two children who are keeping me busy but very happy. I just want to be there for them and my husband.
