When you pick insurance you need to have good common sense as well as wise decision making skills. You may need a variety of insurance policies. When selecting the perfect insurance use good judgment and sensibility and make sure that you’ve read the terms and conditions so that you know what you’re covered for.

Obviously. I not stupid just very short on time. I thought a could of recommendations might help narrow my search.

    Hi Mood

Making sure you have the right travel insurance is essential (as enajohn has said) but to help with your search could you provide some more info? Where are you going? For how long? What age range are the travellers? Do you (or they) have any medical conditions that will affect the price?

A good place to start would be Staysure.com - they do 8 days in Europe for around £5. Pretty cheap with good cover.

Staysure.com is for UK residents only, as far as I can ascertain.

Staysure.co.uk is for UK residents, Staysure.com is for European residents (they have to use the "Expat" tab). As long as you selected travel insurance underneath the "Expat" tab, not the main "insurance" tab this would be fine for residents of Ireland.

I think you should get single trip insurance and there are several insurer which can provide you travel insurance in very competitive and affordable price.

Has anyone purchased travel insurance from insurancebookers.ie or had any experiences with them. Their online quotes for single trip are very competitive.
