    Hey guys,
Kinda doing a bit of planning today as I'm not really fit for much else after last nights fill of beer, and am looking for somewhere decent to go for New Years eve. I'm not looking to go too far, as it'll only be for 2/3 day break and if Ryanair fly there then even better. I was thinking Edinburagh, can fly there with Aer Lingus from Shannon for about €100 return which isn't bad. Anyone been there for New Years or just for a weekend away in general?? I remember hearing that it was fairly good spot..
Was also thinking London, Manchester, Newcastle, maybe Barcelona.....
    Any ideas or opinions??

Was gonna suggest Edinburgh when I saw the thread title! Edinburgh is a beautiful city and Hogmanay is amazing! Do it!

edinburgh and berlin are the big two when it comes to new years celebrations, both will be cold though with berlin being that bit colder
