I'm trying to replace a brass switched Lampholder on an old lamp. The problem is I've no idea where the Neutral and Live wires are supposed to go on the actual holder. Should there be markings on the holder to say which is which?

It doesn't matter which wire you put in the terminals (provided it's not the earth wire!!).
