You've seen them all separately, here they are, all together, in order of acquisition:

    172367.jpg

Left to right, top to bottom
    1) Orient FH01-CO CS
    2) Vostok europe Rocket N1
    3) Vostok Komandirskie K-34
    4) Raketa 24h franken watch
    5) 1980' Slava
    6) Sekonda (Poljot) alarm
    7) Sekonda (Luch) de luxe
    8) Raketa Domino
    9) 1980's Vostok amphibia
    10) Aristo (Apucto) HP2
    11) Raketa big zero franken
    ----out of sequence----
    12) Slava rattrapante stopwatch
    12) Vostok amphibia (broken)

And here are all the wearable watches again, sorted by size (just because I can :D)
    172368.jpg

Three of these were bought brandnew, four are NOS and as good as new, one is a only a few years old and hardly worn and the rest are used but in good condition.

purchase price, including shipping and new straps ...a shade over a grand ...or the price of one affordable "good watch" ...I'd rather have all these :D

    I think it's confession time :D

I don't particularly like Amphibias (or Komandirskies) with round cases and the stainless steel bezels ...and I don't like them at all with motives on the dial. While they are substantial on the wrist, a lot more than in pictures and technically speaking pretty fine watches (especially when considering their price), they still remind me a bit of children's watches :D

The horsey one above was bought to see what the fuss was all about and because the horse is one of the rarer motive dials. That one is now broken and I'm not particularly grief stricken about it.

The Amphibia itch was scratched with the (IMO) much nicer version with the black bezel and octagonal shape ..that one I just love.

So ...in short ...no, that one doesn't interest me :D

Having said that, I might still buy myself a new Amphibia (without motive dial) at some stage as a beater for the next holiday on the beach.

    That K-34 Is a beaut.

I'd be v. tempted to go for one myself but for several reasons including the lack of cash, the impending arrival of dodger junior (any day now:eek:), the wrath of mrs dodger should another watch come into the house and the lack of cash :D

Hi Peasant,I just you seen have a Raketa Domino, maybe you or some one could answer this, the watch is a Raketa, but why does it have 'Paketa'' on the dial? Im trying to get my hands on one and im curious, quite possibly a stupid question!

Well hang on to your hat McFearless this could well be a stupid answer to a not so stupid question :o:D I think a Russian/Cyrillic R looks like a P? *cue the Russian forum regulars going WTF??* :)

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

Correct ...and when you write "Raketa" in cyrillic in lower case it actually becomes Pakema instead of PAKETA

That one is pretty much discontinued, I've only seen it on one German page lately but they are asking 266 Euro (which it isn't worth IMO) ...but they do have it in black & blue also.

PM me if you still want the link

If you were missing one, maybe a single-hand watch. There is a russian one made by Luch, know nothing about it - but I'm sure you do :)

I may be known as frugal, but even I can afford at least three hands on my watches :D:D
