how many monitors can my graphics card support

    Its been a while since I ordered anything from Komplett.

    Last graphics card i bought as an ati 4850 so i'm due an update. I seem to remember there being a monitors supported row in the specific information table. It seems to be gone now.

    Would i be right in saying that if a graphics card has more than one slot then it can support more than 1 monitor?

    EG if it has one dvi and one hdmi then it can use both a hdmi and dvi monitor at the same time.

    I say this with specific reference to the nvida gtx550 and 560.
