Recently i have noticed that very recent form is a lot more useful than overall season form.

the flip side is a teams recent form may be skewed due to a run of top or botton teams.

halfway through the season how many previous games do you consider to be a good reflection of current/recent form?

is that number influenced by the number of home and away games?

Also when using statistical analysis would you cap a teams goals scored or conceded at 2 or 3 so one game wont skew the stats?
