Lookin seriously at this as a replacement for my ailing asus. its £519 on amazon. part of the price is a £50 cashback offer (valid in ireland). Any thoughts before i take the plunge and make the credit card wince once more?

Yeah, post in the right forum next time.

Dony follow tbh, think its a genuine bargain alert as its by far the cheapest price i can find for this machine. Isn't part of the whole BA ethos that other posters give their opinion whether they think something is a bargain or not. Also there are more civil ways to make your point if you think ive posted in the wrong forum, instead of a smug sarcastic put down....

it looks a nice machine but just a heads up 17" is a big laptop if you are thinking about bringing it around etc.

I'd nearly be tempted myself. Good spec, the only thing is the USB ports are 2.0 and not 3.0.

Agree with you there, thinking of it more for the main house computer.

Just a heads up, dont order using paypal from saveonlaptops. they have some issue with address verification, had a payment bounced back that way a while back.
