Hi, Was wondering if anyone could advise me. We are going to Lisbon on 5th September, and checked out the flights a few days ago from Cork. When I went to book them yesterday, they had almost doubled in price. Is it possible that the price could go back down again or will they just go higher?

Why am I being quoted 50 euro per bag per check in ? I have already paid OVER 600 Euro to Aer Lingus for a flight to Italy (including 160 euro to change dates ) and believed that baggage would be included ? The costs seem exorbitant. Baggage at one per passenger would mean that my flight would cost an extra 200 Euro !!!!!!

    Hidden costs ??

Pretty normal costs per bag during peak season. You will typically only get free hold luggage on long haul flights.

Just booked Aerlingus. Get 10k bag per person. They advertise kids go half price bag with an adult so to book 2 bags it was 70+35=€105.

    We'll be packing light ;-)

Thanks for the info...does that mean we can put some bags in the hold free? I know we can have carry on but always thought they allowed one bag per person in the hold,I've looked at website and its very unclear .
