connect laptop to pc for wireless?

    my pcs wireless card broke, i have a laptop with working wireless. can i just run an ethernet cable from my laptop to my pc and setup the gateway etc? thanks

    You could connect the PC and the laptop using an Ethernet cable and share the wireless connection on the laptop.

    Can you not connect the PC to the router using an Ethernet cable?

    A new wireless card for the PC would be relatively inexpensive.

    yeah just moved my pc to the router, im lazy :)
