car jumping when going into second gear??

    my 2000 fiesta has started to buck when i change it into second,can anybody tell me why it is doing this?

    When you move the lever? Or when when you release the clutch?

    Could be the clutch is grabbing as it wears... what's she like pulling off in 1st?

    its grand when taking off and it only seems to do it when going into 2nd,i tried it with low revs and then high revs and still the same result? i dunno is it just me?

    Have you experimented with how slow or fast you come of the clutch? Try it nice & slow but even. Count out 2 seconds as you easy off. If it wasn't happening before & doesnt happen in any other gear it's probably not you or your technique though, i would imagine. Best to get a mechanic to take it for a spin.
