    Good morning,

Pretty simple question really. I intend to part let my property (two rooms) in order to cover the mortgage. Does this have any implications to my TRS? Would I have to pay tax on the rental income?

    Cheers
    Fusion

if you are living in the property, look up the rent a room scheme - tax exempt up to 10K per annum, and does not affect PPR status of property when sold.

If you are not living there, rent is taxable.
