Chrome dentures and shocks?

Hey all

Ill be gettin a chrome upper partial denture done in the next couple of weeks
the cost is 1000 euro.
i have maybe 4 amalgam fillings in the upper teeth and about 3 in my bottom teeth.

im just concerned with having metal in my mouth, if i am eating something and it has tin foil attached my teeth with fillings in them give a reaction and its very unpleasant,also it can sometimes happen with certain cutlery if it goes in my mouth


I expressed my concern to the dentist about this reaction and asked him has the chrome been known to give off such a reaction as im sure there is no returns on a denture once you buy it and its alot of money.id hate to put it in and have my teeth reacting to it and then im down a grand and have to buy a new denture

He kind of said it should be ok but im just lookin for a second opinion here,maybe someone has had an experience with this type of thing before

Cobalt Chromium does not have galvantic potential it will be fine.
