Problem with window tint residue

Had to remove the window tint off a window to pass the NCT. Now have a very sticky window and can't open or close the window without it sticking. Any suggestions how to get rid of same? Have tried washing up liquid & water but no use.

Its the glue from the tint.

Get a solvent based product to take it off. Nail polish remover or a drop of thinners will take it off but both may leave a strong smell behind. Use sparingly and wipe dry with a clean cloth afterwards.
