Yep, I remember them! Had a green pair, great fun, but bloomin' painful when I got it wrong and rapped a knuckle or a finger!

On 28/08/89, I found a pair of these in a box when my uncle was cleaning out my grandparents attic. Me, my sister and a cousin were all in my grandparents that day and my uncle was letting us look through the boxes of old toys and letting us keep what we wanted. I found one of these and within seconds of playing with it, I managed to accidently hit my sister in the face and give her a black eye. When my mam came to collect us and saw my sister's face, she nearly killed me and my uncle! The reason I remember the date was the next day was my sister's 4th birthday and in all the photos of her party she has a massive black eye.

I had a pink sugary coloured ones. I could never master what some kids could do. I think ( fuzzy memory! )they used to hold competitions as well.
