    I'm not a parent but if I was I would like to think I wouldn't do this... Working in a shop at the moment and come across this every so often. Women, and a few men, who come to the checkout and sit their kid up on it when they have an obviously honking, stink nappy! And it cannot be possible that the parents don't know, because people 30 feet away would know! And I know kids poop, course I do, and I know its not gonna leak out on the counter (hopefully!), but still - baffles me!

    Don't apologise pal ...you had a very valid point.

    No need to put baby on counter ...hold the litttle thing...all parents think their babies /children are great.

    My pet hate is those mums with the sunglasses on their heads who shout at their kids down the aisle

    "Over here Jake or "Come on Josh" in loud strident voices.

    OK we notice your kids ...they are the ones in the designer clothes...probably same people who are bleating about the cost of school uniforms /books
