I have a part time job and was wondering how much I should be working during my final year in college. How many hours per week do most students work? I have two days off college during the week but im considering telling my manager that i can only work weekends and one weekday incase they have me working on all my days off. I dont want to be overwhelmed with work but at the same time i'm afraid that if im not available enough I won't be kept on after my contract ends :(

Consider you may be let go anyway after your contract ends, and if you are let go you can always apply for the student assistants fund at your college. They'll pay your bills and living expenses but nothing more.
