Worth Upgrading to Windows 7?

I bought my computer in November 2008, It's a HP G60 114ea. It's currently running Vista. Would it be worth spending money on Windows 7? I haven't had any problems with it (yet...touch wood!) but Vista annoys me. Or would I be better to just leave it and buy a new laptop in a couple of years...or whenever this one gives up! ;)

    Here's the specs:
    Processor: Intel Pentium T3200 / 2 GHz ( Dual-Core )
    Cache Memory: 1 MB - L2 Cache
    RAM: 3 GB (installed) / 3 GB (max) - DDR2 SDRAM ( 1 x 1 GB + 1 x 2 GB )
    Hard Drive: 160 GB - Serial ATA-150 - 5400 rpm
Optical Storage: DVD±RW (±R DL) / DVD-RAM with LightScribe Technology
Graphics Controller: Intel GMA 4500MHD Dynamic Video Memory Technology 5.0

I had vista too and upgraded Windows 7, never regretted it, the computer runs so much faster and never once froze up on me like vista, but If u've had no issues with vista it depends what you want it for, but windows 8 is out sometime in 2012

Your pc specs should be fine as windows 7 was designed to run on any system that vista can handle, if you can find windows 7 for cheap then you might as well

I bought mine win vista home premium dec 2007 in lidls and had an upgrade some time back. great. It's quite easy to do takes an hour with one or two questions.Costs more if the shop does it.I get FREE security from microsoft security essentials no more norton or avg they tend to conflict with microsoft and are not needed at all.Go to Microsoft security Essentials for free downloads and auto updates. My pc is in it's 4th year AND DOING a brilliant job.Upc 25mb/sec Try ninite to run updates on your software apps.

I agree with Tea_Bag and not just coz his name is awesome!

I have the T3200 in the laptop I am using right now, a Dell Inspiron 1525 which I got 3 years ago and came with Vista. Pretty much same as you. I upgraded to 7 the first christmas it was out and it runs perfectly on it. Do it!!! :D

Also Windows 8 is going to be a steaming pile of donkey pooh so don't wait for it :P
(hope that won't get me an infraction)
