    Would there be much work in Ireland for someone who studied 3D game design.

    Honestly, not ALOT. There is areas alright but its a very highly contested industry, especially since Ireland, in general, tends to focus on casual and mobile games, which are generally in 2D. However, thats no reason not to keep an eye out, gPotato do some stuff in 3D and popcap games might be willing to take on more game designers but they would more likely be dependent on experience.

    In saying that, we've had at least 4 start ups this year in games and if this trend continues, we will need more game designers
