Did anyone partake in the recent swim for charity? what kind of hours would you need to put in in order to do it? was it mostly professionals or were there some amateurs? how much were you expected to raise?

is that the 13k swim your on about?
i guess there would be some serious training for that, im swiming around 10k a week for the last month in a swiming pool, have no experience in salt water but im up for it
