Any good deals in decent Leinster courses next week?

A friend and I are heading to Laois next week and are interested in playing one round of golf on a really good course. I'm thinking of the K Club, The Heritage, Mount Juliet, Druid's Glen, etc.

Are any of these courses, or similar ones, doing any good green fee deals at the moment?

    Open Fairways Card?

If you do not have it, the above would save you a bit of money on some of those courses.
I do not know what offers it has for the above courses but I do know it has 4 for the price of 2 in Moyvalley, Rathsallagh and Dunmurry Springs which are in that region. Plenty more but I just know those ones from playing them.

I am sure there is plenty of offers out there which people will come on here and tell you about. Just not from that region so not too sure tbh.

No Open Fairways card, I'm afraid.

I know I should actually ring some of the clubs but I took the lazy option and posted here instead! :o

I would do the same! Ring them and negotiate with them. Its a time of negotiation for many golf clubs and if you give a firm guarantee that you would be bringing 4people ask for the Open Fairways rate. If you plan to have a drink / food, etc make this clear to them. The worst they will say is no but you might be surprised and 1/2 will let you do it.

Check out www.teetimes.ie as there does be many special offers on there for many courses around the country. Sign up to it and you will get an email with special offers every Wednesday which are often better than what is on the website.

Plenty of cheap ways to play golf now its just a matter of finding them.

Hollow tining of the greens was done in The Heritage last Monday so bear that in mind that the greens will be very sandy and wont run true for a couple of weeks.

I'm doing my trip round Leinster next week, playing Moyvalley, Rathsallagh, Tulfarris, Esker Hills, Macreddin, Druids Heath and Mount Wolseley.

Coolattin is a reserve on the Wednesday we're not due to play due to a recommendation from someone in work.

The European has open singles Tuesday and Thursday for €60. Weather forecast is meant to be good first half of next week so maybe look at this. Cracking course and the price wont be matched by any of your other 'big' courses.
